The puppies turned two weeks old on Saturday but we only just got the pics up now. You can see them if you follow the usual links:

http://oz.poodleroom.com/index_2.htm

Meanwhile they're so cute now. They are getting bigger and chubbier. And fuzzier! I've been doing their nails each week and they're getting harder to see with the fur growing round their toes now. Pagan is content to leave them alone for much longer now and they lie about sleeping most of the day. I've moved them out of my bedroom cause they were getting rather stinky  Big Grin so now they're in the dining room which is where I raised the last litter. Its the focal point of the house. You kinda have to go through it to get anywhere in this house! So its a great place to keep puppies. Plus I can open the front door and shoo them all out the front when they are learning to pee outside.

They are just so cute!!!!!!!!! Smile

They are getting so much bigger!!  I love the photos of Cheyenne in your arms.  She looks like she's laughing. And that Maya looks like she's full of mischief!  How cute they are!

Ohhh look how they have grown!  What gorgeous little chubba bubbas they are - they are doing so well.
I love that photo of Cheyenne when she is showing her tum - I could just blow a bubble on it!! I would have to kiss them all day.
My mum was just visiting and I had to drag her in her to look at them she said "they are such lovely little things".
I know that puppies are born with their eyes closed, but I never realized that their ears were closed as well. So... they rely entirely on their sense of smell until their eyes and ears are open.  How amazing is that???
Thank you so much for sharing photos with us.

Oh the work is only just beginning! They're now beginning to mill about in the whelping box... stumbling, walking, pouncing on eachother, crawling over eachother etc. They can hear now so when I get up in the morning to go to work and let Pagan out to pee they wake up. By the time I get back they've peed and poohed all over the papers and are raring to go so I have to hurry and change the papers and bedding before they get too dirty. This morning I thought I'd try them on a bit of divetelac (puppy forumla) to see if they'd lap it up... they basically took a divetelac bath. I had to take it away. They love yogurt though. Navajo and Lakota especially cant seem to get enough of it! They are just so cute when they have a bit and then kind of smack their lips, get it all over themselves and eachother and go 'oh! look! a bit of food! I better lick that off!' LOL I love them!

Just was over there and saw the newest pictures.  I was really happy to see the one at the milk bar. Makes me realise their size and how much they have grown.
So how much do they weigh now? Mary

Didn't weigh them yesterday, but the night before they were all between 60 and 70 ounces (about 4 pounds each), so are probably a bit more than that now. That's right at 2 kg each. Their birth weights were around 1 pound (16oz) each. They have indeed grown a lot, but that's good....that's what puppies are supposed to do, eh! Smile

They really have little personalities now. Chinook is a ratbag. She loves to pick fights with the others... always waiting to pounce on someone and grab and ear. Navajo likes to sit back and watch things, growl a bit now and then to let you know he's watching. Cheyenne is always on her back it seems... she'll pounce on someone or a toy and roll over. She also loves sleeping on her back. Maya, Comanche and Lakota are all just as naughty, dont get me wrong. I just dont seem to catch them doing things as often! LOL They obviously have better timing!  Big Grin

They're now total little 'people'... they walk around a lot, play, wag their little tails, almost always manage to get out of the whelping box to pee and always to poop. They go back in to sleep though. And they are eating plus still drinking milk from mom. This weekend they'll get their first bath/clip! That'll be fun!
