We've been using Zefi's camera here. I left mine at home, since it seemed redundant to have two cameras, and less chance of something happening to mine. Zefi's is a Kodak Easyshare DX6340. It's really easy to use and all that. Nice and compact too. About the only thing I miss from my own camera is this only has like 4x optical zoom. I have a Fuji FinePix 2800, which is only 2mp, but has 6x optical zoom...which is really sweet in many places. I wouldn't hesitate considering newer versions of either of these cameras...both work well and take nice pictures.
And yes, Tasmania is very beautiful and it's been a pleasure to visit and enjoy what I have. I do have another set of pictures to upload yet from the other day. More views from Mount Field National Park, which is really awesome! I'd definitely recommend Tasmania to anyone considering a visit, and hope that I am able to visit again in the future!
To give you an idea of the physical size of Tasmania, I figure it's pretty close to half the size of either Wisconsin or Minnesota. So you can get around the state in fairly decent time. And there is so much diversity here....everything you can imagine pretty much. It's been a really wonderful experience to see the area here. And to be able to spend a fair amount of it here with Zefi and her poodles....all the better, eh!

Am looking forward to getting back to my girls and getting back to work at home, but I know I'll miss Tasmania when I leave.
