 Hello everyone,

Well looks like Trouble could  not wait until Halloween.......................she had 10 brownies yesterday(started after Day light savings time went into effect early Sunday morning)........................she has 6 males and 4 females............................one male is not doing well, had him to Vet early this morning( as we had a Peke going in for a health certificate for shipping), Vet seems to think the boy was stressed during birth(it did take a while for him to arrive, compared to the others),had a good strong heartbeat,no cleft palate, he still can't nurse so is being tube fed, don't know if he will make it or not......................he is not the smallest in the litter either................anyone have any thoughts/ideas about him?

A few pictures yesterday...............

A nest full of brownies  Hershey Kiss

A tired but content Trouble and her brownies.

OK now I will be needing brownie names................maybe Halloween names, or names with the word brown spelled as it is in other Countries such as bruin, or something about the time change, I am fresh out of ideas...............any and all name ideas are welcomed................I always save them all for future use   Wink

Mindy, congratulations!!! They look so gorgeous! Smile

I hope the little boy is doing well. I've had a couple, born last in each litter, be slow to nurse, but never for this long so I cant offer any help. I hope he's doing ok. Usually they just need to get some energy into them and then they are able to nurse themselves.

Give the bubs and Trouble kisses from me! I cant wait to see photos as they grow!

Thank you all for your kind words...........we lost the boy yesterday morning.........on a brighter note the others are all doing well, still bottle feeding a couple of the smaller ones, as 9 puppies is a lot for Trouble...............she doesn't mind my help  Smile

I will send pictures as they grow up.

THANK YOU all for the great names, I am saving them all to the "brown name folder"...............

Hi Mindy,

My condolences for the loss of your little one.  I'm very sorry he did not make it... Frown  We had a little black female who didn't make it past her first night.  She was only 5.7 ounces!!!!  And I think the little thing was just too small

But enough of that because as you've said, you have nine little tails that will soon be wagging for your attention!  I can't wait to see the pictures as they get older!  As I've said, I've never met a brownie before so it will be great to watch them grow even through pictures!

I'm so sorry about the little guy.  I guess he's feeling better now, playing up on the Bridge.

I can't imagine what you'll be going through in the next weeks with all those pups!   Lots of kisses!

Sorry to hear about the boy, Mindy, but the overall news on the litter is great! That's a whole bunch of browns for sure! I'm used to much smaller litters, but you've got a lot of joy and work ahead of you. Enjoy the moments while you can....you'll be fine in dealing with things! Please share their progress with us....we always enjoy that! Smile Smile

Mindy I'm so sorry about the little boy. I cant imagine anything worse than a lifeless baby puppy... It must be heartbreaking.

On the positive side, I'm glad the others are all doing well. Cant wait to see pics as they grow!

HI Mindy!

I bet the pups are keeping you on your toes!  I know they're are still so small but probably growing in leaps and bounds!  Do you have any names picked out yet?
