I went and visited Navajo a couple of days ago and clipped his face/feet/tail. He is a gorgeous boy. Adorable. He was so happy to see me, jumped all over me and kissed me and fell asleep in my lap while we chatted.... its so nice to see them happy and loved and so sad to have to say goodbye. I really wanted to keep him...

Anyway, before I'd clipped his furry little face he had a brownish cast to the hair but I figured that was normal. He eats and drinks... the hair there is bound to discolour. However after I clipped him his face wasnt totally black. He had a lighter cast to this muzzle. This reminded me of photos I'd seen of a blue sp owned by a friend when he was a pup... a lighter muzzle. Not a lot. Navajo looks black, but there is definitely a lighter haze of blue around his muzzle.
I'm so excited. Do I dare he's blue? I got it from knowledgeable people that he could very well be blue. Pagan could be carrying a fading gene which is hidden by the fact she's white, and there is silver behind the Lake Cove breeding of the father (on both his mother and father's sides). So... I'll be keeping a close eye on this boy. He could very well be blue!!!!
His dad took some photos and now I'm waiting for him to mail them to me. Hope he hurries. When I get them I'll post them for you to see.
