You know they should be shown with the gun dogs......they were bred for that. So, Pagan is just being natural. I don't encourage hunting, but I accept it as canine behaviour. I'm just wondering why mine ignore the possum that raids my fruit trees. We have observed it sauntering across the yard in full view....of all three poodles.....Is it because they have seen its mighty biceps?

I'm thinking, a hunter/trial title would be cool........after our obedience title...after I actually train Lily.

I have had poodles for twenty years. I started with a rescue which was a "cross". Until recently I did obedience and have titled two standards and a mini.Three years ago I bought Jurado Lily Marlene and got into showing. I am very proud of her. She came second to Zefi's gorgeous "Montana" at The Sydney Royal. I also have Laura (10) and mini Panda (Cool. I adore them all.
