I have to share this story about Billy and the bandicoot.

This is a bandicoot.

They are so cute. I love them. They are endangered and it really upsets me to think any of them might get hurt.

Anyway, the other night I let Billy out the front to pee before bedtime and he toddled off to do his thing. Next thing I know he comes barrelling round the corner about one hair behind a bandicoot, breathing down its neck as they zoomed across the yard. LOL It got away of course (Billy is no hunter. He's the boy who sat and watched a mouse run across the living room floor only inches from his nose). Then Billy spotted the wallabies on the lawn and was off after them. When they jumped the fence he got the zoomies! He zoomed round the yard like a lunatic for a while, then came running into the house to zoom in the living room, tossing toys in the air and pouncing on them.  Tongue 2 such a cute kid!

Then he jumped onto the couch with me cause I was laughing at him, and he rubbed his face and sides all over the couch and me while he laughed back. I call this 'rubbing his Billyness' on things. LOL I just love little Bill!

Billy sure is a cute boy, but that bandicoot was cute too. I'm glad it got away too.

How cute!  Love hearing about Billy's zoomies!  He must have decided that bandicoot was a perfect playmate.  Thanks for the photos.. the only bandicoot I ever was was in a videogame, lol.

Last night I came home after dark, parked the car near the gate to shut it and saw the little bandicoot on the grass just outside the front of the house. He was so cute... hopping about finding insects to eat. I walked over slowly and quietly and got very close to the little guy without startling him.

I just love him! He's MY bandicoot. Nothing better happen to him!

ROFL!  The visual is priceless!  There's nothing quite like Poodle zoomies!
