I got a call from a very nice man the other night. He is looking for a home for his mother's 6 year old boy, Kimba. Apparently his father passed away last year and his mother has had a stroke and can no longer look after herself. She cant keep Kimba any longer. They are looking for a good home for him and I have passed the message on to everyone I know but I thought if I cant find a home for him in Tassie perhaps one of you guys can find a good home for him up north? Carlene? Any help?

I believe Standard poodle rescue in QLD have a waiting list of people. if you can't find a home in Tassie - does Vic poodle club have a rescue arm?

Carlene, I will give you his number if you want so you can contact him direct. Would that work? I tried to call him the other day but there was no answer. Maybe you'll be able to catch him and if he hasnt found a home yet you can line something up.

just to let everyone know, this poodle, KIMBA has found a home with a doctor and is happily becoming part of his new family... he is the new brother to another 6 year old standard...
