I just had to share some photos I took of Montana playing with Ted yesterday. Ted is Greg's dog who now lives in our front yard, guarding the house. He gets along really well with both girls but I'm too afraid to let Billy out with him cause of the size difference and the fact that they're both males.

Ted is a rottie x staffie and he's the sweetest thing, though not exactly the brightest spark! LOL

Thats a little forest of silver birches that Greg planted for me a couple of months ago. I really wish I'd put them in when I first bought the place, they'd be huge by now. But better late than never! Smile

I live on an acre. A pretty flat open acre with nothing much on it. A few plants, some bushes including a logaberry bush which has so many berries I make jam to give away! Two huge pine trees on the fenceline front and side. A few fruit trees that bore fruit for the first time this year (the possums got most of the fruit!). I love the open space in my yard and dont want to change that with garden beds and stuff, but I do like the idea of some little clumps of trees.

You make jam too?  Oh man... now I REALLY wish I lived close to you!

I love these pictures!  Nothing cuter than dogs zooming around (except when it's in the living room).  I keep laughing out loud at that second picture.  It looks like Tana is wearing little pink fluffy slippers.  teehee!

LOL Helen. I've only made jam twice in my life! When the bush produced too many berries this year and once previously when I didnt have enough of my own so I had to pick blackberries. My mom is the real cook in the family. She makes granitas and jams and all kinds of goodies. Of course she lives in Greece... A bit far for me!  Frown

This year I even got apricots off the apricot treee and tons of peaches that actually ripened before they fell off like other years. I could have made tons of jam. Instead I gave the apricots to my neighbour to make preserve and made some fresh salad and a cake with the peaches.
