I am partipoo1....I purchased my first ever poodle last weekend, after searching for three and 1/2 years.  Well,
I was a little premature in my posting an introduction; since I posted the "reader's digest" version of the experience on this site under breeding, registration, etc.  I am a parti poodle fanatic.  I love these dogs.  And,
even though I have two other dogs that are unbelievably smart; (one is about to become a narcotics/drug dog for the state of Texas), my german shepherd and my toy rat terrier; this little poodle is the love of my life!  I think God knew what that little guy needed.....saving.....He'll be good as new before too long.  I AM having trouble getting him to eat if I don't hand-feed him.  The breeder hand fed him. (Read the other post for more details).   I have been stung by a irreputable breeder ( I have contacted AKC), but I am going to love this little dog.  He is adorably cute.  He looks at me as if he knows I saved him.  Nice to meet you all.

Hi Partipoo1

I can't wait to see Domino!  Can you show us?  You can use www.photobucket.com to upload photos if you need to.

My  newest baby is a parti too!  Poco is 9 months old now and he's a standard.  We also have Archie (Silver SP) who is 13 months old.  They are maniacs.   Roll Eyes Tongue 2 Wink

Hi Helen!  Yes, I have seen Poco!  Truely beautiful!!!! If and when we get to move to the country, I want SP's and by that time, I should have become a poodle expert!!! We'll see.....Domino is a hoot!!!  So much personality, my gosh, I thought my rat terrier was full of energy.  He looks like he dipped his nose, right up to just below his eyes in milk or white paint, the rest of his head is black.  He has a "stripe" down his back that is black, and the tip of his tail is white with the majority of it black so he looks like he has a white cotton ball at the end of his tail.  He's precious....I love him so much.  And he knows it.....He's always giving me thank you kisses for things I do for him.  (Can we train husbands that way?)  Oh, excuse me, random thoughts jumping out on the screen....  Tongue
I do not have a digital camera and no scanner so I'm photo challenged.  Maybe one of these days, if I quit spending it  on my animals......(nevah! as Michael Cain says)  I know I'm weird.....oh well.......
