I thought I'd take a moment to let you know who Ted is... Ted is a rottie staffie cross, he's 5 years old and he belongs to my boyfriend Greg. When Greg sold his house a couple of months ago he and Ted moved into my place.
Ted and the girls get along great cause Ted's a nice boy, but the girls did have their nose out of joint at the new addition for some time. Spoilt brats. Jealousy is a curse.
Ted is an outside dog. He pretty much lives on the front porch and front yard and we spend time with him out there. He's always been the guard dog and never an inside dog.
Greg just finished putting up a rail round the porch for me and I cleaned it up and we now spend a fair bit of time sitting and enjoying the view (and tossing endless balls for Ted).
So far it seems the girls have taught Ted to race cars down the fenceline and that chasing them (the girls) as they run full pelt around the yard is the most fun. Ted is a calmer dog than the girls and when he's in the yard with one girl only he is a good influence and they dont bark at everything.
When he's in the yard with both he's outnumbered! LOL
