I've just returned from Sydney where Montana was entered in both the 8th Poodle National and the Sydney Royal Easter Show. We had an awesome weekend. At the National Montana got Bitch Challenge out of a lineup of absolutely stunning bitches and then got Runner Up Best of Breed to the dog who went Best in Show!

The judge was Mrs Barbara Cherry from the UK (Shanandi poodles). In her critique she wrote:

145 AUST CH PANTONE TALK OF THE TOWN : Owner: Z Famelis

1st Outstanding white bitch, feminine with a lovely expression, excellent layback of shoulder, firm well ribbed body, strong well angulation quarters, very typey free moving bitch who holds her shape on the move. Presented to perfection. This bitch headed a class of 5 outstanding bitches, I wished I had more 1st places.

At the Royal Montana won the Champion Bitch class and went on to win Runner Up Best of Breed as well. Specials arent being judged till Saturday so I dont know if the gorgeous dog that got Best of Breed will get the group yet.

I am so thrilled with Montana's wins and really pleased with how well she went, especially at the Royal with all the noise and people and some loud thumping noises...

Its great to be back home but sheesh there is so much to catch up with!

Hi all,

I had the great pleasure of meeting Zefi, Montana and Adam at the Royal and watching their wins at the National and Royal which were very well deserved.   Tana looked fabulous and showed her heart out on both occassions.  Well done guys!

Thanks to everyone. Of course the wins havent gone to the girlie's head at all. She's still as much as a ratbag as she was before. LOL

And it was great meeting Tracy and others who I'd only ever spoken to on email before.
