Thought I'd intrduce myself. !
My name is Theresa, and I live in Seattle Washington.  I am fortunate to spend my life with  my second white std. poodle pup, Stella who is 7 months old, and a  little chihuahua boy , Harley who is 6 yrs.
I own a dog walking business and teach classes on how to  enjoy our dogs by understanding best how to communicate with them in a positive way, along with basic manners etc.  Needless to say, i love dogs and and have interacted with them for any years.
I am a HUGE poodle fan, in all variety's, and think they are the lexus of the dog world !!
I am interested in all facets of their abilities, and have competed in sports, therapy work, and of course, always trying to be at least as smart as they are !! what  a joy  to have a poodle in our lives, yes?
I certainly hope more join and participate in this forum.  I do my own grooming, and am interested in as many tips as possible, as well as sharing how best to enhance  and understand the brilliant minds of our poodles.
Hope everyone is enjoying their day with their P !!

Hello Lilydancer!  Welcome.....Sounds like you have a wonderful deal going on!!!!  I just recently became a poodle owner, I have a toy parti, and he is all that and a bag of chips!!!ha.  I am here to learn as much as I can about poodles, one thing I have figured out is they are very smart!  I adore my little guy and he does so much want to please and do as he is asked.  And so far so good, I am happy to report.  I am wanting to learn how to groom him; I have trimmed his pom tail and around his face and cropped his ears but I am very intimidated by grooming with the clippers.  I am afraid I will hurt him, having no experience in grooming.  Anyway, that is another post site, I just wanted to say welcome to you!  Kathy
