Montana won Runner Up In Show yesterday!!! What a thrill! She got RUIS to a wonderful Rottweiler thats a multiple Best in Show winner, so there's no shame in that! Smile

We came home with a ton of ribbons... I had her entered in Aust Bred yesterday for the sake of collecting another ribbon for my wall and we came home with Best Aust Bred in Group, Best in Group, Best Aust Bred in Show and Runner Up In Show. Great day! Smile Made staying there in the cold till late afternoon worth it!

Thanks Tracy. I'm glad you brought up the topknot as it was one awful day for topknots! I started brushing and spraying, got it all up, then she shook and it all FELL!!! All flopped everywhere! I was beside myself! Nothing I did seemed to work, so I put her on the ground while Adam held her and I did it again. And for some reason it not only worked but worked the best ever!

I've been trying to get that rounder/softer look that handlers in the USA achieve and its been interesting... Smile I love that softer look, especially on a girl.

Have to agree with Tracy, the topknot is gorgeous and I think you are doing the rounder/softer look to perfection. I can just imagine how you felt when all your hard work "fell down" as it has happened to me too! Funny how the second topknot can be better......and what a cool win...well done guys. Keep 'em coming,

I have had poodles for twenty years. I started with a rescue which was a "cross". Until recently I did obedience and have titled two standards and a mini.Three years ago I bought Jurado Lily Marlene and got into showing. I am very proud of her. She came second to Zefi's gorgeous "Montana" at The Sydney Royal. I also have Laura (10) and mini Panda (Cool. I adore them all.
