Hi
We have already been useing jackets for Zeus our Greyhound for awhile now, he has very little fur. The question I have is I bought 2 so that Oden would also have one for when it gets real cold; but will he really need one? We are keeping him pretty furry for winter, at what point, if any will I need to put his jacket on?

I never put coats on my big guys, even when they have short coats. Mind you, Pagan does own on very snazzy red checked jacket. But then again it doesnt get as cold here as it does in some places in the northern USA.

Hi Roland - my tip as a groo,er would be that if he is going to wear a coat don't leave it on 24- 7 as this will cause Odin's fur to matt.  If you have central heating he will only need a coat for going out if you keep him clipped fairly short otherwise he can romp around with the fur jacket he was born with if you leave it to get fairly long over winter.  I love seing pictures of the poos in the snow.

Thanks. We are going to leave him fairly long in winter, so this means we have an extra for Zeus who was not born with a "fur coat". I can't wait for it to snow. I really want to see what they dog. Oden's not old enough, and Zeus came from Kansas, and I don't think they get snow there.
