pneumonia

Zeus; our Greyhound, has a small case of Pneumonia. The vet has him on antibiotics. Has anyone else gone through this? If so, any suggestions to make him more comfortable, or keep him on the mend, would be apprecated. Thanks.

Sorry Roland - no experience with this in dogs - hope your poor baby recovers soon. Are Greyhounds prone to this type of thing? My mother-in-law has Afghans and I know they get chills easily (no fat).

This is my first Greyhound so I really don't know if they are prone to it. I'm on a Grey Forum like this one and I haven't heard about this from anyone else. I do know that they do get cold easily. Zeus loves to sleep under his blankets. and always wears a jacket if it's chilly out. Thanks for the well wishs, I will pass them on to him. Smile
