Mine is a water bottle. My dog goes crazy for it.

Oden LOVES sticks! We go to the park and almost the first thing he does is hunt out a good stick, and then carry it around you don't even need to be throwing it for him.
Although someone in marketing figured out that dogs like sticks, and now you can buy a "stick". It's just a hard rubber tube, by Hyper Dog or someone. Heck guess they figured they can sell water, why not sticks LOL  Tongue

The poodle is the only dog I have seen do this. My poodle does that too. My parents dogs will find a stick chew on it and let it go, but the poodle wants to carry them in the house or keep them with him. Its so interesting.

I had assumed a lot of the retrieving breeds would do this.  Our old girl Zoey has always done it and often brings things home from our walks

palm fronds ( twice her size)
plastic bottles and other "nice" rubbish
sticks (these vary from small to ones she has to drag along)
toys (she loves council clean uop when people put all sorts of stuff out on the street to be collected)
a swim fin
we used to have a rule that if she could drag it to the car we would take it home for her  Tongue 2 Tongue 2 The funny thing is that once she arrives home she will often just drop it in the front yard.

I have never seen any other breed do this. My parents have a britney and I have always been around labs. They are used to retrieve ducks and I have never seen them do this.

Poco loves to bring in leaves from our orchid tree and then eat them like potato chips.  I kept worrying about it and trying to take them away.  But finally just gave up since it doesn't seem to be hurting him.  Roll Eyes

I know a lot of orchid trees are poisonous. All parts of them are. You might want to figure out the exact kind of tree you have.

That looks like our orchid tree.  It's gorgeous in bloom.  Looks like they are saying that it's poisonous.  But Poco has been eating the leaves off this tree for over a year.  I can't stop him unless I chop down the tree.  If I really thought it was poisonous, I would.  But he hasn't been bothered by the leaves at all.  (Archie ate them all the time too).   Maybe the flowers are bad.. I dunno.  But he's not interested in them.  Just the leaves.

It says the leaves are poison. It's your dog and up to you. If it was me I would cut it down. I am very paraniod though.

Helen find out either way. Its too important.

I have a rhododendron which is poisonous and I keep puppies away from it. Adults leave it alone. But I did remove a wisteria for the same reason.
