Here are some photos of the gorgeous Montana modelling the new jacket I made her. Its double polar fleece (inside and out) with an internal lining of raincoat fabric between the layers to make it waterproof. It buttons up with press studs. The finishing touch is the poodle applique! There's a pink poodle on each side.  Smile

Yes... winter is coming down here. Its not yet really cold though we have had a few frosts and chilly nights.

We dont have many trees that turn red, not natives anyway. Only one native tree that I know of that turns red in autumn in Tasmania. There's lots of poplars that turn yellow - they're often planted on farms as windbreaks. What you can see in my photos are the silver birches turning yellow. The red tree you can see behind Montana is a plum tree and always has red leaves.

I love autumn colours but unfortunately dont have much in my yard that turns red. I bought some boston ivy especially for the colours and its doing ok... hopefully it'll cover a fence when it takes off. I planted 4 trees that turn red in the front yard a couple of years ago. Only 2 look alive now but they are SO slow growing.

No. LOL I was recycling. I had a pair of wet weather pants that I'd torn so I cut them up!
