You'll never guess who came to visit me last week.... Carlene from Newcastle! Yep. Our very own Carlene who owns Harry and Pearl! She and her friend Louise came to visit on Mother's Day and brought me 2 gorgeous bunches of tulips. I love tulips. We had a great time - wine, dips and cheese, LOTS of talking and lots of poodle kisses for everyone. Below Pagan presents the tulips...  It really was fantastic to meet someone who I've known for so long only through the PR! |

when one is in tasmania, without ones poodle/s.. what must one do!
HEAD TO PANTONE, OF COURSE!
my friend louise and i gathered our best behavious, a couple of bottles of tasmanian wines, bunches of tulips, king island brie & a gorgeous tub of coriander pesto and headed to the hills in a fabulous Jaguar...
Zefi directions had us in stitches, they were so funny.. no mention of any roads only landmarks, which were very few and far between.. things like, cherry orchards, hops buildings, little B&B's, broken down little bus shelters and the whole time meandering on a river that was to stay on our right... too funny.. but we got there with ease.
we were very warmly welcomed by the fabulous zefi, the charming greg and all the poodles at pantone!
zefi was so welcoming and warm, quickly offering coffee and making us feel right at home..
greg was in total shock, but a few wines sorted him out, until he was totally poodlated then headed out to cut wood or something that seemed very urgent at the time..
which left us girls to gorge ourselves on the pantone brood that was home at the time..
Its amazing meeting someone face to face after all these years, one never really knows what to expect
thank you again zefi for your hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed spending mothers day in your household

In my defense.... even if I'd given you road names, there are no road signs! LOL Only destination signs such as 'Salmon Ponds' or 'Mt Field National Park'. I dont even know the names of the roads... I have a vague idea what they're called from hearing people talk, but I cant be sure. I've never seen them written anywhere! LOL My directions are fine!  They got you here in one piece!  Greg was funny. When I told him some 'poodle friends' were visiting he said 'I'm outa here! I gotta go chop wood'. LOL but when you arrived and plied him with wine (not a man's drink!) I noticed he wasnt in such a hurry to go! Greg is a nice buy, charming as you say, but he's 'not into poodles' as he keeps telling me. However, he's now known as 'poodleboy' in the valley, much to his disgust. And he loves them. I've seen him playing with them and talking to them no matter how tough he tries to act. He wont do any activities with them (though I did force him to take Bonnard to puppy kindergarten once) but he loves them. (BTW I have him wearing the 'Real Men Arent Afraid to Own Poodles', 'Are You Man Enough to Own a Poodle' and 'Poodle - A breed of dog for men who have nothing to prove' Tshirts! LOL |

no need to defend your self zefi, i didnt mean any malice by my comments with regard to your directions.. and you are right, they did get us to your with total ease...
as for greg being a "nice buy", we will take your word on that..
are there any pics to post of him modelling your tees..

I talked to Greg about modelling the Tshirts and he said 'not gonna happen'. LOL I'll have a go though... maybe I can convince him... catch him in a weak moment... |

at a dogshow in norway today, I saw a man with this t-shirt!!! they are well spread around the world!!  he had two poodles on his arms, two males, white and black, miniatures |
