Meet Oliver:

I bought him about a month ago. The breeder said 5 months and the vet thinks 6 months is more like it. However compared to his brothers and sisters he is huge (he does have one brother that is even larger then he is) so maybe his size throws people off? He weights 45lbs right now.

His feet are monsterous! They look like saucer plates! I wonder how he will ever grow into them.

Anyways Oliver and Toby (the poodle from my other thread) are like long lost friends. They tear around the house and yard constantly hanging off of each other!

Here is his webpage (to see more pictures): http://www.bitsofstuff.net/oliver

Welcome to Oliver!!!

I think he could just be big... Bonnard is 5 months old and is about the same weight... I weighed him at the vets a week ago and he was 21 kilos... thats about the same! He doesnt have huge feet though, they seem to fit his size so I'm hoping he wont get a lot bigger.

How tall is Bonnard? I was looking at pictures of him and thinking he looked about the same size as Oliver.

Anyway I am not sure how large Oliver will get but I saw his dad and was amazed to see a Standard that large.  Eek

His paws make my other standard's paws look really small. I guess we will see.

He is so clumsy because of his size and being a puppy that he is constantly tripping over his own feet.  Big Grin

Also I cant wait for his topknot and tail to grow out. The breeder cut the topknot too short and shaved way too much off the base of the tail leaving not much at the end.

I'm not sure how tall he is... probably about 21in or so? He's not as big as Montana yet, but not far off.

Bigger pups take a long time to grow into themselves. They are most unattractive at times, all unco-ordinated and clumsy... They get there eventually though. Smile
