...the number of casualties we've had since Dahlia came along! I just cleaned up another dead toy last night.....she'd done like she'd done with a few others....squeaked it for awhile, then starts tearing it apart, and then stuffing all over the living room! One cow, one squirrel, one sheep, and a few others.....no use continuing to count....it's clearly a mission she gets on and we'll have more to come, I'm sure. I'll have to make her a few squeakerless toys and see if she likes those. She loves playing with toys, but I obviously can't leave her unattended too long with them. Poor toys! Anyway, can't say she's boring.... Smile

Oh believe me, I know where you are coming from.  Sassy is now almost 9 months old, weighs about 4 pounds and tears up ever and anything she gets.  If I don't watch she eats the rubber toys.  I purchased some new really heavy duty plush toys for her for Christmas.  She did good with them until this week and tore all of them up in 2 days.

I simple do not know what to give her now.  She gets upset when we take the torn ones up and looks and looks for them and is discontent but what does one do?

Bonnard is 'The Destroyer', but I've found that some toys survive for some unknown reason. Usually its the non-squeaker toys, and the smaller the toy the more its chance of survival. Wierd huh?

Ah... I just said the boy was 'the destroyer' and here is some evidence. I was writing emails and turned around and saw this behind me. Happened in minutes. The poor toy didnt have a chance.

Happy Smile Glad I'm not the only one!  Remy has been renamed "shreader" by my husband and son.

Boy, Bonnard takes his job seriously....not just gutting them, but slicing and dicing them into confetti!

Dahlia just seems to like to rip them apart and then gut them.....stuffing all over....then she loses interest.

Amber used to destroy certain toys too....mostly just removing the voice box (squeaker), but she was the kind that took real good care of certain toys too. One seal, in particular, was her *baby*. I had other seals that were the same style, brand, etc.....got a few spares once I found she loved them so much. But that one.....in particular was her favourite and she'd prefer that over *any* other toy. And always took good care of him. A few others she was good to as well. But others....in seconds they were dead!

Shelby's funny.....she loves her zooballs, which she can toss around and keep herself amused for some time...as well as plays catch with me with them a lot too. She also loves some other toys, and some of those, she'll sit and "nibble" at them....almost like she's flossing her teeth in the process....just dainty, kind nibbles. It's cute!

Jamie didn't like dog toys...she preferred small stuffed animals. So, I've been progressing along.....now I have toy fiends and it's getting worse! Dahlia definitely has to be kept busy to keep her in line....otherwise she's creative in non-constructive ways. Oh well....can't say life is boring! Smile
