Having just had a very close encounter with the current fires (a wildfire starting in my back paddock & sweeping round two sides of my house) I just want to hope that all here are safe & have had nothing worse than I have happen & that people & their animals are safe
All the best

Hi guys

I haven't been here in ages, but after hearing about the awful fires in Australia, I had to hop over here to see if everyone is okay.  It's pretty quiet here.  I will be thinking of you Aussies and holding you and your poodles in my prayers.

Its just unbelievably horrible. And still going on and still the death toll rises. And this morning I heard that someone is still lighting new fires. Its just unimaginable to normal people that anyone would do that sort of thing.

Lucky for us we live far away from the fires in Tasmania, but I know of a few dog people who have lost their homes, their dogs and even their lives in some cases. Its horrible.

It just breaks my heart, Zefi.  I cannot fathom how people can be so evil.

I'm glad you and the poos are okay.

I am pleased to report that we have had some rain & the wind has dropped. We aren't totally out of danger but it certainly has lessened.. Not all the news is good as there has been such an terrible loss of life but there have been some welcome news of friends surviving as well as the ones we have lost.
