I only found you a few days ago and currently am Poodleless.  Over the years I have had several if you include childhood pets.  In Australia we've had 3, Jet succumbed to snakebite about a year ago and I'm just starting to look for a new companion.  I thought this would be a good place to find out a bit more of who is breeding etc.  Jet was 13 so I havent had to look for breeders for a while!  Anyway at least I can have a cyber poodle - purebred of course  - by looking in here!

Welcome! And yes, if you're between poodles, it's still nice to have a poodle-y connection! I've just gotten over my first *more than a year without a poodle* recently....at least the first in over 20 years. So can understand. Hopefully you can find a decent breeder within range for you before long. That's horrible news about your poodle and the snakebite. And though I don't expect you to want to talk about it, if you did have any information or advice to any of us in regards to such an incident, it may be something good we can all learn from. Anyway, again....welcome to the forum, and we look forward to your input, stories and hopefully news of a new poodle when the time and everything is right!

Hi and welcome. I'm so pleased that there are so many Australians on PR. When Michael and I dreamed it up we hoped we'd get people from all over the world and we're getting there slowly.

Yes, nice to have people join from wherever. We assumed we'd get US and Aussie members, as we have plenty of connections in both places, but it's wonderful to see the European and other locations joining up as well. The more the merrier, eh!
