Hi to everyone.  I just joined the forum and am posting pics of our spoos.  I say ours because my sister, Dianne, and I co-own them.  I am raising Billy and Carly and Dianne is raising Angel and Grace.

These are the four from left to right:  Carly (10 weeks/black & white) (Whispynook's Dancing With Magic), Angel (4 1/2 months/brown) (Nobility's Angel Gabriel of Whispynook), Billy (six months/blue) (Whispynook's Blue Magic), Grace (six months/silver) (Whispynook's Amazing Grace)

They sure look gorgeous. How on earth did you get them to sit there so well! Bonnard is such a brat, he refuses to learn 'stay' so if I want a group pic I struggle.

Are you planning to show? What made you get four all so close in age?

Thank you, Zefi.

I am a professional photographer and have a studio in my basement.  My sister and I worked together for the photo session.  Before that we clipped, bathed, and groomed all of them.  Nearly killed ourselves!!    Roll Eyes  LOL  I was on the camera and she was the doggy wrangler.  She had the hard job of placing them and then doing whatever it took to get them to give us some nice expressions.  Cans with noisy things in them, whistles, very strange noises with your mouth  Big Grin, banging on pots, etc.  These all work and anything else you can think of to get your dog's attention.  The one photographing has to be very patient and very quick.  You need to be looking through the viewer all the time anticipating and ready to shoot in a split second.  We got lucky a couple of times and they actually held a pose long enough to get off three or four shots.  You need to give them a break now and then and treats don't hurt either if they don't get over excited by them.

We are planning to do agility and obedience and we are planning to breed in the future.  Billy and Grace came from service dog lines.  The poodle is the only breed I would consider having more than one puppy at the same time.  They are incredibly intelligent and easy to train and so much fun to have.

Being a professional photographer would explain the lovely backdrop!  Smile And I know about all the stupid noises. LOL Main thing is though, the fine line between getting their attention and not making them come to you! LOL

You sure got that right!  My poor sister!  I stood behind the camera and just laughed.  She would get them all set up, stand back, then start to make noise and up they would get up so she would have to start all over again.  She was sweating up a storm.  Oh, did I forget to mention that we have a small wood stove in that room.   Wink

Lovely pictures, Debbie! (ignore my question in the other thread...should have looked at this post first!)

Some gorgeous pups there, and will be nice to see them grow up and all the things they'll do. Especially since you'll probably get some great pics along the way!
