Ok...I have a sister who is five years younger than me.  Her name is Dianne and she belongs to other forums but I think she reached her limit so she isn't on this one.  Dianne has bred Dobermans and Brittany Spaniels and showed her Brittany's to championships.  She was been out of the business for a while but has been very interested in the poodles for a long time.  She asked me if I would like to partner with her if she restarted her business with the standard poodles.  I was very interested and after much research and travel we choose four puppies.  I got Billy, our stud dog, and Carly, the black and white.  Dianne got Grace, Billy's sister, to breed out to another stud, and Angel, the chocolate.  Since they are the breeding dogs for the kennel, they were the ones in the professional shoot for our book.  We don't like to refer to it as a kennel, though, as they are all being raised in the home as part of the family.

Now...Jester.  Dianne fell in love with the little fellow and my mother, who has Alzheimer's, just loved him too, so she bought him for her.  Jester lives with Dianne since mom is in a nursing home but we take him to see her every week when we all go out together.  Jester is Dianne's baby and she just loves him to pieces.  He is appropriately named as he is definitely the clown of the group.  He is also the instigator and occasionally the troublemaker.  LOL  He gets into trouble and then gives you that 'look'.  How can you be upset with him?  He's the dog that everyone loves!  Even people who are not poodle people.

So, the reason he isn't in my signature image is because he is Dianne's own personal dog.  I do not have co-ownership of him as I do with the others.

Whew!  That's my story and I'm sticking to it!  LOL   Big Grin

Well, I can see why he charms everyone he meets. He's really gorgeous. You can see it in his face. I used to take Pagan, Billy and Scooter to visit nursing homes. I hope to take Bonnard with me to work once he learns to control his 'gregarious' manners. LOL

And thanks on my website comments! Smile

Your welcome.

We take all of the poodles to the nursing home.  It is quite a site!  Four standards and little Jester fill the halls as we go along.  We just love the whole scene as do the patients.  Billy and Grace are from service dog lines and were started in the nursing homes before we bought them.
