No sperm count in 16 mo. old poodle

Hi all, I haven't been on the forum in a very long time and it's good to be here.  I have a "situation" which I need experts to address, besides my vet.  What better place to come than to you all!  I have a toy parti poodle that will not breed my female.  He mounts, but will not tie with her.  So i took them both to the vet this morning for tests, she's ready; and the vet could not get but about 3 drops of semen from him....so we decided to scope it for sperm count and there wasn't any there.  The vet said I need to give him wheat germ oil and that might work....My questions are numerous; I would just like some input from you all.  Thanks so much, Kathy Conary Denison, Texas, passionforpartipoodles.com
