What kind of dryers do you have? I am looking into force dryers and would like your input on what dryer you prefer to use, and  how to compare dryers. Thanks!

I think it depends on if you're in Australia or the USA... brands will differ. I have three dryers and I use all three. My first is a Liberty I got second hand. Its a stand dryer which comes with a hose attachment as well. Its a good general purpose dryer. Then I was given an EziCoat blaster, a floor model with a hose, by a friend who no longer needed it. I love it. I do a LOT of my drying with that now and it cuts down drying time hugely. Lastly I bought a Beacon stand dryer. This is made in Melbourne by an old guy who came out of retirement to make dryers again for a while. Its just a stand dryer and is totally different to the other two. The Liberty has 2 heat settings: cold and hot, which isnt really hot, and 2 speed settings. The EziCoat has no heat, just 2 speed settings. The Beacon has 2 heat settings and they are warm and hot. It has one speed and thats not hard. And unlike the other two its really quiet. I love my Beacon! LOL I do the heavy drying with the blaster and if I'm in a hurry I use the both the Liberty and Beacon together to finish a show coat. If I'm brushing and finishing I use the Beacon. That way I can talk on the phone or watch tv!  Pleased

You definitely need a proper dryer!!! Even with one standard only its so much easier. If you arent showing and keep your dogs in a short trim you only need a floor model with a hose.

A long while ago,I worked for a groomer that had a nice force dryer. I don't remember the brand, but it was blue and shaped like a cube.

There are lots of brands out there who make dryers. And some arent that expensive. Good luck.
