Hello and thank you Zefi for allowing me to join your little corner of the web.  My name is Mary and I live in Hamburg, Pennsylvania USA.  I share my home with my three Standard Poodles, Magilla (black 2 year old), Echo (black 1 year old) and Willow (white 4 month old).  We also share our home with Raven my Doberman and Loki my Australian Shepherd. 

I'm a pet groomer and work on dogs and cats.  I have three children ranging in ages from 19 to 11 and I have an amazing husband who thinks I'm crazy (grins).

Hi Mary and welcome to the PoodleRoom!!! Lovely photo of your girlie. We love seeing photos here!

I groom too... mostly I just do a few local dogs when they need it (not nearly as often as they really need it and most of the time they come in filthy and matted. ugh) and for the next few months I'll be standing in for a friend of mine with a grooming buiness that has broken her hip. She needs help to keep her regular customers happy so another friend and I are doing one day each to cover the basics.

I really really need a grooming outfit. I'm covered in dog hair and itchy as hell after a day there.

Welcome from me too. At the moment I have a chocolate Standard girl, Tia, with whom I am doing Obedience & waiting for the last pass for our C.D. Of course that pass will mean we really will have to try & master the art of working with a dumbbell for our C.D.X... which is proving to be a real challenge as Tia isn't the slightest bit interested in having anything to do with it... Oh well, time will tell. In the meantime there has been a submission to the VCA (the Victorian Canine Association) for Standard poodles at least to compete in Herding which is something Tia is very keen on - well at least when it comes to cattle anyway

Ooh. That would be interesting - herding! I just met a standard poodle boy in Melbourne who is doing tracking!
