Another new challenge

Tia & I had our introduction to tracking on Sunday. She did her first short uncomplicated track & we have lots of food for thought as we start training for this too. I must confess I enjoy seeing Tia working out new things & ways of meeting the new challenges. We have been very lucky with the group who invited us to join them to give it a go. It was also good to see poodles well represented with four minatures there who tracked really well apart from Tia.

Thats wonderful!!! I so admire people who DO stuff with their dogs. I am just too lazy. All I ever do is look after coats!

As for working things out, I love watching the puppies figure out things. Like how to join me on the other side of the fence when the gate is open but they have to go back and through it, or that they need to go down the ramp to jump off at the low end. In both instances they have to move away from me to get to me and some are so quick at learning that!
