Member Map

There are lots of cool features on this board, and some I'm still learning, or learning how to use well myself. One of these features is a "member map". If you go up to the menu bar above...the lower grey one, not the upper lighter one. The one that has "home/help/search...." listed in line. Follow that over and near the end you will see "members/map/staff/logout". Click on "map" and take a look around. You can view from different locations, and even place your own pin! A few of us have already placed ours, and any registered member can add their own too. Might be neat to see where everyone is from by seeing it on the map. Thought you all might enjoy that little feature if you hadn't already noticed it.

thanks for the tip michael, have placed a pin, i had to guess, so its not all that accurate... but east coast of australia, north of sydney.... carlene and harry who

The initial view on opening the map is a world view. You can use the dropdown to view regions...including Australia. Then you can be a bit more accurate in placing the pin. If you need to move it, remove it, then place it again. But basically, I think you did well. Nice to see the Aussie pins!
