Ok, the consensus is still out on this... Is Montana just a ditsy blonde or is she just a girl with a great sense of humour.

Lately she's taken to barging into the bathroom whenever I open the door cause there is SOMETHING living in the wall behind the bathtub. Not sure what, but its there! And she knows it. If you arent careful she'll knock you flying as she runs past into the bathroom to catch it.

Yesterday I was in the office when I heard a thump. It was my mobile phone falling off the dining room table. I went in and there was Montana... ON the dining room table. Silly girl. I dont think she knew how she got up there and how to get off! She'd obviously gone up to get a little purple rabbit I'd put up there earlier. LOL

What a nut! You gotta love them.

I think her motto is "girls just gotta have fun"! Sounds like she hasn't a care in the world and lives that way....carefree! Maybe she's ditzy, maybe she's a clown, maybe she's all of that, but I know how lovable you say she is, so that's not deniable either. As with eskies, maybe there's a reason they use(d) poodles in circuses! Smile What's a circus without clowns, afterall!?!?! Smile

ditsy blonde? never. clown? i doubt it, she is just a very intelligent poodle... you know there is something behind that wall in bathroom and so does she, she isnt going to rest until its gone, as for the table, she was after a toy that you placed up there for her.... you ask her she will tell you!  we just love montana....

Yeah I love her too. Funny thing is, I told Michael this, I only just in recent months have started to really LOVE Montana. Up till a certain age she was cute, sweet, I 'loved' her but now I really love her. Does that make sense? Its like as she's growing up I'm getting to know her better, she develops into an adult with more of a personality and with that my attachment to her becomes stronger and stronger. When I sent her up to Sydney for some shows a few months back I really missed her.

Yes, Zefi and I have talked about how, no matter how much you love and appreciate a puppy, it seems you can love and appreciate them even *more* as they grow up. Something about them maturing and become more of what they are, and also that we are embracing more of that and appreciating it more too. I know I always loved Jamie, but it seemed to be a love that grew...even to the very end and beyond. At one point, I thought Jamie would be the only poodle I'd ever have in my life. Well....even THAT grew on me more over time! It's like the bond grows stronger and better with time. It's something wonderful. Even if some of them are blondes! Smile

i think i was just too bloody exhausted to really appreciate maxwell, but when he finally slowed down enough to be appreciated, he was..... as you know there wasnt anything i didnt or wouldnt do for him. Rescues do come with baggage and that is always a challenge, but I consider this just another reason to love them more....
