I just got a new camera, and finally installed the software on my computer so I could download the pictures. Smile

Here's a picture of Chula and Archie playing their favorite tug-a-war game.  Their other favorite game is "pretend to kill eachother and watch Mommy get nervous".

I followed them around and took a lot of pictures, but mostly it's just 2 fluffballs, one black and one white, and you can't tell what they are at all.  haha!  I can't get them to hold still!

They are completely Best Friends now!  I'm so glad!  Smile

Thanks Zefi!  I have a feeling that these two are going to be as close as our Teddy and Papi were.  Already they HAVE to be together all the time.  I'm really loving it.  They've been tearing around the house all this morning, and have finally collapsed in a heap of exhaustion. heehee.

We're talking about doing something that I've wanted to do for YEARS!  Our backyard isn't really dog-friendly.  Half of the yard is taken up by a huge pond that we put in about 12 years ago.  We built the dog run because we couldn't keep Echo OUT of the pond and he was constantly getting all sludgy with icky fish gunk.  We no longer have the fish (65 large koi) because they were stolen out of the pond by "something" a few years ago.  But we've got the pond and hubby has enjoyed all the waterfalls.  Me, I'm not as enthralled.  The pond takes a great deal of maintenance, and the pumps are constantly burning out.  I've had secret plans to get rid of the whole danged thing someday when I'm a Merry Widow.

But.. yay!!  Finally my husband is open to the idea of getting rid of the pond, and putting grass in, and having the whole yard be a fun place where the dogs can run and play!  This would be so GREAT!!  I see the pictures of your dogs playing outside, Zefi, and I know my pups would love to be able to do that too!  (It might save on inside rampaging too, lol)

That sounds great Helen! I'm so glad you've decided to make the yard dog friendly. Thats one thing I love about this place. I live on an acre, which isnt much around here, but its so much more than I had in Melbourne! The way the land is laid out here the majority of the land is to the side of the house, with the biggest open space to the front/side. I call that area the 'paddock'. The dogs love it. That side has a huge pine tree, my wood pile and the garage. Behind the garage is a small shed in a dog proof fenced area that comes in handy when I have puppies. The back yard is divided into 2 yards right now but I've been thinking about making it into one yard... I'll see about that. But yeah, I just love having the space for them to run.

I dont like them doing zoomies in the house. Its not allowed here. I have carpet in half the house and the rest is floorboards and they slip. That scares me so much I am sure someone is going to break a leg or hip on the slippery floors.
