Ohhhhhh would you look at that lovely little bump Smile She looks very contented.
Do standards usually have large litters?
I guess you will be busy picking names by now.

Yes, she's been acting very contented, very calm and cuddly. I love it when she's pregnant. Smile

Last time she had 6 puppies, but her mother and grandmother had 7-8 puppies in each litter on average so I was surprised. Still, 3 boys and 3 girls was a great litter. Not too big, not too small. I dont think I could cope with a litter of 10-12 puppies! sheesh!

I've been busy picking names... something to tie in with mom and dad. Mom is Pagan, Ch Aultone I Am Bewitching and dad is Apache, Ch. Picardy Song Of The Night.

I have a list of names already but am still taking suggestions! The registered names have to fit in 24 spaces (letters and spaces) and include the prefix Pantone. These are some names I like so far:

A boy named Sioux
Pagan Love Song
Pagan Love Child
Little Heathen
Rain Dancer
Witch Doctor
Dream Catcher
Apache Warcry
Apache Warrior
Pagan Priestess
Running Bear
Little White Dove
Pale Face

I am open to suggestions before I narrow them down!

She looks so beautiful!  She has that "inner glow". Smile

I like all those names.   I'm not good at it.  It took 2 months to name Archie!

Last night as I lay in bed I could feel the puppies kicking in Pagan's tummy. Its such a wonderful feeling. We'll be making up the whelping box in my bedroom soon and she'll sleep with me this week so I can keep an eye on her. Billy has moved in with Michael so he's not being left out. Poor Tana has to sleep alone!  Frown

I love these pictures!  Nothing better than cuddling a full grown Standard Poodle on your lap!  And a preggers one to boot!

Pagan looks like she's proud as punch of her new figure. Smile

OK, here is my two cents worth.....  Smile
I like the name:

Pagan Bewitching Song of Ishtar

Ishtar was the ancient Sumero-Babylonian goddess of love and fertility. She is often described as the daughter of Anu, the god of the air.

Feel free to send me a free puppy for the naming rights  hahaha!!!

Nice name! Thanks. Tongue Dont know about a free puppy, but you could be godfather! LOL

Meanwhile the tummy is getting tauter!!!! Honestly, it feels like a drum now. I can feel puppies moving around in there, turning, pressing up against the skin, kicking etc. I could feel at least 4 last night I think. Its so wonderful to feel them in there and know that soon I'll get to meet them in person!

Its getting closer!
