Oh My god Mindy!  She's huge!  But she looks like she doesn't mind that much Smile  Is she a silver or silver beige?  I've never actually seen a silver beige before so was just curious.  Ricky at times looks pretty um..... er..... beige but I think that's more my fault than her's. Smile  How is the name hunt coming along?  Do you have a theme for them yet?

Look how pretty she is!  She wears her impending mommyhood very well!  Daddy is jumping for joy, huh!  teehee.  I love these pictures!

Terri, Zefi's Billy is a silver beige.  Maybe she'll pop up one of his pictures from his days as a Star. Smile  Gorgeous color.  But different from Trouble.  Mindy, is she a silver?  Our Archie is a silver, but at 7 months, he's mostly still all charcoal color except for his pretty face.

As Helen said, Billy is a silver beige. You can see photos of him both cut off and in his glory days on my site on his own page.

Trouble is a 5 yr. old brownie Hershey Kiss  Hershey Kiss..........her other two litters were due around Halloween, both came in November...............I don't think she will wait until November this year Happy As to names waiting to see when they actually arrive.

Here she is as a puppy.......

As adult waiting to go in the ring.......

Sprayed up at home.........

A lot of browns lighten...............some call it silvering or fading...............she is actually darker now than she was back in the early summer............

Amber is a silver beige as well......don't have a lot of pics of her, but hopefully I'll get a page for her and Shelby up one of these days yet and you can see her coat more too. Smile

BTW....I often call Shelby the blonde, and then Amber gets to be "the platinum blonde"! Smile

Ahhh, I see the difference now...  Actually both are stunning Smile  Sorry about that Mindy!  Didn't mean to assume the wrong color.  I didn't realize that some browns got so light as they matured.  Personally I think it's stunning.  I am so intrigued by the many colors poodles can come in.  I've mostly been exposed to cream, white, silver, black and blue as those are the colors of our dogs and/or the pups they produce.  Though I have had the good fortune to meet the cutest red puppy one could ask for.  Personally, I prefer the term "silvering" of course I might be biased.  Smile

Are you counting the days until the pups arrive?

Thanks Zefi, someday when I can afford it I hope to get you to paint one of the brownies for me, a friend painted Baldur(it's on my website), while she did a good job for someone who hasn't painted in years, and has never painted a Poodle, she is not a "Poodle person" and did not capture the "Poodle spirit"...............which I see in all of your lovely Poodle paintings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Mindy,

i can only imagine the butterflies you are feeling.  Even if you've done this a million times it's still so exciting and nerve wracking!  I've been present for the arrival of two of Julie's litters and that was just amazing but I know I will be a wreck when Ricky has hers.  I guess it's different when you watch them grow up.  My baby's having a baby! Smile that sort of thing.  Good luck and I'm hoping for plenty of happy wagging little tails.
